Outside Sand Sales Representative
Overview: We are looking for a qualified outside sales representative for our Sand Division. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing the sale of materials (including sand/dirt).
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
- Schedule product demonstrations with potential customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Submit quotes to management for review
- Follow all industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
- Responsible for ensuring that information is delivered and follow up is done.
- Calculate cost estimates for all quotes, including but not limited to: materials, equipment, subcontracted work, and labor.
- Maintains communication with Operation Manager, vendors and clients.
Skills/Other requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- College degree in business preferred but not required.
- Valid FL Drivers License
- Clean criminal background and driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Prior experience as a sales representative.
- Strong customer relations (both internal and external)
- Detail Oriented
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Strong computers skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and office products
- Adaptable to change
- Demonstrates ability in meeting sales objectives.
- Knowledge of materials (included sand/dirt)
Salary:
Commission based.
